the day of saint patrick

experimental laundry procedures in the bathtub and oven have turned out some very satisfactory results.

%100 cotton responds well to the wm temperture setting for about 15 minutes, 250 degrees tops for 8-10 if you don't want to smell scorched.

I did the bathtub thing in college. The agitation process involved me stomping on the clothes like grapes.

I didn't think of that oven thing! I just wrung them out and flipped them over a string.

You have changed my life. I have all this cotton clothing that basically lies in heaps because there's nowhere in my apartment to hang it up to dry.

On the other hand my oven is filthy. But maybe this will provide motivation there, too.

Do you set it in there folded? Does it cook creases in?

the most satisfactory results seem to come from either hanging it from the top of the oven over the oven opening with a weight, or else laying them flat on the over rack, inside out, and turning them occasionally

if you think about it, a clothes dryer is an oven with ventilation and tumbling action. they have these racks to go in a tumble dryer so you can dry shoes without them banging around all the time, you could probably cook things on it.

i would like my steak, permanent press, please. no fabric softener.

it is a plan.

you'd have to wrap them in foil or else they'd dry out, i think.
