People just wanted to be loved. That was the thing about words, they were clear and specific -- chair, eye, stone -- but when you talked about feelings, words were too stiff, they were this and not that, they couldn't include all the meanings. In defining, they always left something out.

i went to alabama for five days. that was fun.

i dressed up as jackie o for the homecoming time warp period costume dance. that was fun too.

there is a boy that works at our libarary who looks and talks just like david.

amazing.

i just got off the phone with tony. since he is off friday, saturday, and sunday this weekend for sals wedding, i assumed he would be working on thursday...based on the fact that he has never had a weekend off, and usually works 6 days a week. apparently, i wrongly assumed he would be working thursday, and they were still going to give him thursday ( Read more... )
