OOC: Written for simplebutterflyMike spent most of his time in the garage building a new car. It was another Charger and his favorite among the classic cars for speed and durability. His mind was on his last one as he started bolting the frame together. His last one had been his favorite of the dozen or so he had built and the only one he ever smashed with the ( Read more... )

Thank you so much. This piece came out of nowhere. I'm really finding that it is the pieces I don't think about, that just flow seem to be the best. :)

Butterfly had always done this in the past. Distanced herself, kept her mind on something else to avoid the things that were staring right in front of her. She rubbed her stomach and sighed, looking around Thomas's bedroom as she though about what to do next. What did she do next? Where the hell did she go. Mike tensed at what she did. It made the anger worse. Not only was he being replaced but now she was trying to buy it off with sex. Mike looked up at her, hurt, unhappy. He wasn't even interested, not really. Mike turned away from her kissing him. She didn't disgust him but the feeling he got from it did.

She just looked at him for a minute, not moving but then got up and sat in a chair opposite of him and rested her hands on her stomach. She didn't say anything, she didn't know what to say so she settled for being quiet. That hurt, him telling her to get off him.

Mike watched her get up and move away. Part of him was mad because she did and the other part wanted her even farther away. He just stared at her trying to sort it out. Nothing seemed to come through right. Slowly he frowned.

Trying to fuck me isn't going to fix this. Mike rarely swore but he was angry, uncomfortable and nervous. None of those feelings he was comfortable with. Even more so when it was wrapped in with love.
