Really enjoyed this. I like the parallel you've found between Sirius and Lily -- even though they come from opposite ends of the blood-status spectrum, they're both feeling misunderstood by and different from their families.

I like the idea of Sirius turning to Lily after The Prank, too; not sure I've seen anyone write that before. He's grown up a bit, too, just as James has.
