That wasn't real pleasant. Not the actual dental work - I did sleep right through that. But just shy of 4 hours of anesthesia does not make for pleasant Tams. Cheek is still numb 5 hours after coming home. Chewing is kind of sore, NBD, but a bit difficult as they didn't try and smooth any of the work down, since that's best done with awake Tams. When you're under, they also strap you to the chair. I learned that with my second round with wisdom tooth surgery, although it did make me marginally uncomfortable to be strapped down before I was sedated. (In a situation without my honey, but that's neither here nor there.) But since they fixed my persistent migraines and some other issues, I suppose I can forgive them.
