But on the other side, you must see it as a compliment.
All of those people are story hungry and they don't get much good stories. When they read your story in the index, they were of course deliriously happy and what happens? There was slash.
They get winded up, emotional and voila, you get it on your head and blamed for the fact that you write good fan fiction, even when it is slash. Then you get winded up and rant here.
Then I write this comment and who knows where it will lead to
