I have Now Vegan, which is good. Mum actually got it for me last Christmas when she decided to come to terms with me being vegan. Funny that you're looking at it for your mum now!

My non-vegan (but mostly pesci due to my diet change :)) Mother quite liked Now Vegan when i got it out from the library. However, i have bought her 'Vegan Italiano' by Donna Klein for Xmas, as she also loved that one, much more of a focus on whole, easily obtained foods, and the recipes are delicious and simple :).

My Dad is hard to buy for too. I'll be making him delicious foods, and keeping an eye out for anything else he might like...

I'll have to look for that book. Sounds good. And the easier the better!

I vote Now Vegan. It's more Australian-centric which I think is better for non vegan Aussies who may be intimated by all the foreign ingredients in Vegan Brunch, like black salt and nutritional yeast. Plus Now Vegan has the world' best snot log recipe. Plus your mum will probably know who Lynda Stoner is!
