Hi,
I've been after vegan food colouring for some time now, but I dont want to pay upwards of $10 for a single colour bottle D:
Does anyone know if the 'single colour' bottles of Queens brand food colouring are vegan friendly?

I'm pretty sure they are, including the red, so you could just get the four pack. The ingredients are: water, food colours (102, 124, 133, 122), food acid (330), preservatives (202, 211). Nothing dodgy that I can see!

I love black and white kitties - does he have the "tuxedo" pattern colouring?

Just look for the additive number which indicates cochineal, as that is from an insect and is therefore non-vegan. I believe the number is 120, but I often confuse it with other numbers which have a 1 and 2 in them, so you might want to Google or otherwise double check.

120 is right. I have the list as a file on my drive. As I have to check for vegan and allergy numbers.

Yep, they're good, obviously as long as you don't get a bottle of Cochineal. But the other colours in separate bottles, and the little mixed packs of artificial colours are good.

However, Queens now has a mixed pack of natural colours. The red in that one has cochineal because squishing up bugs is natural -_-.
