One of the Praise mayonnaises is dairy and egg free... I think it is fat free or 97% fat free. You should be able to get it in Coles and Woolies. I have never eaten it though, so can't vouch for whether it's good or not.

You should be able to get it from the health food aisle in your supermarket, however I find the specialty stuff kinda expensive for a poor student like me. As the above poster said the Praise 97% fat free is vegan, that's what I usually go with :)

I much prefer making my own to buying it, because all the soy brands taste like bleargh and I hate the Praise low fat stuff. I use this recipe, although with seasonings to my taste: http://vegandad.blogspot.com/2008/08/homemade-vegan-mayo.html and I use canola oil or vegetable oil instead of safflower, because of the cost. It tastes like a creamy whole egg mayonnaise (like Helmanns), which was always my favourite. Plus, you can made it with a handheld immersion blender rather than in a food processor if you like.

You can also use this recipe to make an awesome whipped cream substitute for a Devonshire tea. :) Add vanilla and sugar instead of the savoury seasonings.

I make it at home, using a similar recipe: http://xeny.net/vegan.mayonnaise. I like the result, and it's really easy.
