I know exactly what you mean about the embarrassment of being without funds though!! A few years ago I was left penniless because I couldn’t access funds in my account. My best friend had drive over and lend me money. I would have done the same for her in a heartbeat, but I was still mortified.

I would have done the same for her in a heartbeat, but I was still mortified. EXACTLY! When one of my friends offered to buy me dinner (which of course I needed or else I wouldn't get to eat!) I actually started crying cause I felt so weird about it, even though I would gladly do the same.

I really have the best parents. They are so kind and generous. :)

It really has been a strange feeling. Also VERY weird to be using only cash...I'm so much more aware of how much I'm spending!
