As the title noted, those were merely random thoughts. It is interesting to
observe however, that many people aren't free, regardless of whether or not
they live within a free society. I certainly wasn't completely free until I
moved 1300 miles away from my roots. Still, even to this day, I receive
correspondence from that church attempting to bring me back into the fold.
The church aspect was a tangent though. The observance I was attempting to
convey was salvation from tragedy. It is an interesting reversal of the
assumptions we have regarding tragedy itself.
At any rate, just random thoughts.

PS. We should get together again soon ;)

I am amazed that dogma still exists in many cultures, it's unfortunate that some people are still subjected to live their lives according to someone elses' beliefs. It's quite absurd, actually. I feel sorry for the people that do not believe in themselves and continue to find cover under some ridiculous demands from a variety of religions, in my opinion, all of them. For as much as we know today, we should already know that the real power of God is within us, not in someone elses' thoughts on how our lives should be. My religion should be catholic, but I refuse to believe that it has anything to do with me, as far as I'm concerned, no known religion in this world can make me believe that God is catholic, protestant, mormon, presbyterian, christian, islamic or any other---it's within everyone, if there is a God, it's up to an individual to look inside themselves and figure out who that God is. Our bodies and minds belong to us, while here on earth, we are responsible for the right and wrong things we do, what happens next is a mystery ( ... )
