After much stuffing around, I finally managed to log into the University Admissions Centre online thing to check up on my application to keep studying at the ANU. I've been accepted!! So early next year I will start studying for a Postgraduate Diploma in Middle Eastern and Central Asian Studies. If I do well enough, I can transfer later to the

Hi Jill & Oscar, Hope all is going well in Switzerland! Have you seen Anu? It must be a beautiful place. Congratulations on being accepted for Uni next year - does that mean you'll stay on at the AGs? I guess Oscar is looking forward to his birthday on Friday, will email and text - any special plans? Not much news here, the International Party on Saturday night went really well, about 30 people there and everybody had a great time. We have also just decided to trade the 626 on a gorgeous Orange Mazda 3, should be able to pick it up Friday - its only 2 years old and in very good condition. The 626 is getting quite a few ks on it and we got a good price for it. We'll take the 3 up to Qld when we go at Christmas. Hope all is well, write soon! Hi! We LOVE Switzerland, all is well. We're staying with Anu and her family in the gorgeous town of Thun.
I will, of course, keep working for the Attorney-General's Department. Aparently the PSCC is being changed into the National Crisis Coordination Centre, so I have no idea what exactly I'm going to be doing, but at least I should have the chance to apply for a higher-level job. A full time one. Hooray! The postgrad stuff will be part time, of course. I'd go nuts if I didn't have a big thick interesting technical book of readings to complete by a deadline at all times.
