"Knock knock. Or, rustle rustle, with this curtain in place," Parker said, leaning inward. "Got a minute?"

"I have several," Rory said, setting her laptop aside with a smile. "Hi!"

"Hi. Haven't seen you in a couple days." Parker came in and perched on the bed. "I wish you were taking beach with me, or Wilderness Survival. We could commiserate on Callisto being nuts, or the stupid Personal Flotation Devices. Whoever designs them hates aesthetics."

"Cal is very nuts, and floatation devices serve a purpose. I'd be in there with you but flying conflicts," Rory said sadly. "Besides, I don't need a weekly chance at sunburn."
