Rory was bundled in an adorable pea coat and a warm knit hat, and sensible -- yet fashionable -- knee-high boots.

She was nothing compared to her daughter, though, who she'd carried outside after carefully bundling the baby in what had once been a cute, if absurdly puffy pink snowsuit. Then Grandma Lorelai and her Bedazzler had gotten ahold of it

"And I'm not helping them," Anakin said firmly from where he was bundled up in a puffy white coat like he'd worn on ice planets. "I'm done digging out other people's cars. Especially little ones without four wheel drive."

"You try some first," Anakin said, eyes sparkling with mischief.

Rory raised an eyebrow before putting about half a handful of snow in her mouth defiantly.

And quick as that, Anakin had made himself a snowball. "Maybe you'd like some more?"

Rory scooped a now mildly fussy Juliet into her lap. "You wouldn't throw a snowball at a baby?"

"You're going to use the baby as a shield?" Anakin replied, arching up his eyebrow.

"It seems wise," she replied.

"You know I could use the Force and just hit you, right?" Anakin teased.

"But Juliet would be devastated?" Rory tried.

Anakin smiled and stomped closer. "You put her in the snow. She says you deserve it."

"Sellout," Rory said, looking down at Juliet and tsking.

"She also wants hot chocolate with marshmallows," Anakin translated.

"Is she old enough?" Rory wondered worriedly.

[sith_happened]

"If she's not, I can drink it for her," Anakin declared magnanimously.

He wasn't as slick as he thought he was.

"So generous," Rory said, wide-eyed and shaking her head.

"Aren't I?" he agreed, reaching for her hand. "You're beautiful in the snow."
