When Rory rolled over to curl an arm around Anakin early Wednesday morning, she didn't really wake up. It was a very normal thing to do, after all, to cuddle with one's husband

Anakin was pretty wiped out from his lightsaber duels yesterday with Ben and Kyle Kriffing Katarn, so he wasn't really thinking in terms other than "mmm, warm," as he moved closer to his wife.

This would be a problem in a minute.

Anakin burst out laughing. "It didn't even remotely work before."

"Sure it did!" she protest.

Not even a little.

"In that case, you need a stick-on mustache," Anakin decided.

"I have scruffies," she noted, rubbing her chin.

Anakin reached out to rub her chin, too. It was just too weird not to, really. "You do," he said, laughing a little nervously. "Want to borrow my razor? Eventually? If we get out of bed?"

"Eh, I'd probably maim myself," she decided thoughtfully. "Do you think Juliet's going to be scared?"

"She seemed fine when I switched," Anakin replied. He grinned. "Good thing we've switched to formula, huh?"

"Oh, god, yes," Rory said, staring down at her chest. "Poor thing would be hungry and confused."

"It's not a bad chest," Anakin said, "just...not familiar."

"And hairy," she said upsettedly.

[sith_happened]

"Well, so's mine," Anakin pointed out. "It kind of comes with being a guy."

"Yes, but yours is attractive," she said sadly.

[sith_happened]

"So's yours," Anakin said, cheeks turning pink.

Rory pulled the blanket up to her chin, wide-eyed. "...nuh uh."

Anakin looked thoroughly embarrassed. "Maybe I'm a little broken."
