Definitely not, sometimes novels are just too...pompous? and take too much effort to read. Most of the time I prefer a book I can read and understand easily, not something I have to analyze to enjoy.

Just because you're an English teacher that doesn't mean you're not human, though the kids probably think so, lol (wasn't there a series of books about kids thinking their teacher was an alien/vampire or something?). ;D

5. I listen to semi-loud music while I sleep, every night. Sometimes it's classical but usually it's classic rock.

Cool, I like falling asleep with music too, it's so soothing.

Soothing sometimes but mostly it helps me drown out all the thoughts running through my head so I can sleep.
