Flying Home Tomorrow .....

As positive and happy-go-lucky as I sometimes am, there are others where I just want to gouge my eyes out with a spork. I am so ready to head back home tomorrow! So ready to curl up in my own bed, light my candles, walk my daughter to school and putter around my own house. Yup. I was ready for this trip to be done days ago. I really don't recommend ( Read more... )

Have a good trip back and feel better.

We should hang out sometime soon, maybe.

What? You don't appreciate the massive unprecedented wildfires we gave you? Sheesh! :)

Yea, that and getting sick completely ruined my ability to get around, have a good time and get things accomplished. I had a lot of work that I was hoping to get done on the family front. But, there just wasn't enough time or energy to get much done in that arena.

That and being stuck out at my mom's place in the Inland Empire without a car. Well.... you can imagine how frustrating that makes it to try to get anything done and get around town! ;)

I'm not convinced that anywhere in LA is good when you are trying to meet up with friends while in from out of town. No matter where you are, people always seem to be 30-45 minutes away!!! ;-)

Well, the gouge my eyes out part is partially a reference to how dry and irritated my eyes have been on this trip. It's something that's been a bit of a problem for me lately back home. But it's been compounded by the dry air, pollution, trouble sleeping and other abuses that I have heaped on my eyes. They have *not* been happy. I'll tell ya that much! ;-)

Did that a couple of years ago when I had the same problem. Totally useless!!! I found some supplement that's supposed to help. I've been using drops and eye ointment like crazy in the meantime. But, they only provide temporary relief at best. Sadly it takes a while for the supplement to kick in. Taking a pile of decongestant while I've been sick has clearly not helped the matter either. It's one of the many abuses my eyes have had to endure on this trip. I'm definitely looking forward to going home so I can put them to rest and stop aggravating the darned problem!!! ;)

Yup yup. Definitely planning to plenty of rest and relaxation when I get home! =)
