I know you said you were going to do it, and it wasn't as if I lacked faith or anything, but damn! Genius. I've been scratching my head ever since you mentioned 'baster' - why the hell didn't I think of the 'baby' thing? I blame a weekend with Atlin who turns all thoughts in a certain direction ;)
It's entirely her fault that when you mentioned 'brimming' as being one of the happy 'b' words you were considering, I immediately thought 'hey, drop the b and you've got a fic' :D

For the record, this story goes entirely against my natural aversion to kid fiction in Sherlock fandom. Mycroft's protests are my own.
By the way, you weren't entirely wrong about Atlin's influence. Her repeated use of the term "shagging for babies" (love that!) was largely responsible for the direction this took.
