Class is back in session and I have a confession to make. At the end of my first Awesome 80's post about John Hughes movies I said I would move on to other teen classics but I lied. It's really only right I move on to my next favorite genre of 80's movies. MUSIC AND DANCE.

When I was in college my friends Ann and Amanda and I were banned from singing anything from Grease 2. It wasn't so much the singing as the potentially (read: very) dangerous choreography though. There was a lot of jumping and kicking and attack sperm. (No, we were not sober. Why do you ask?)

I wanna watch Shag now.

Also, at my son's preschool one of the teachers reenacts the flying leap from Dirty Dancing (on mats and she's on her knees) with the kids. They all yell for more Dirty Dancing now and the mom's giggle.

Those are my thoughts for now. :D

OMG the thought of the wee ones doing the lift. SO CUTE. Their teacher is obviously awesome.

I hear about dangerous choreography. There was much couch and chair leaping and twisting and turning back in the day. I was sober but still just as spazzy.

I forget if it was two weeks ago or what, on Smallville, Clark put on the glasses and that other guy didn't recognize him. LOLOLOL. Silliest ever.
