I'm pleased. I generally enjoy remakes where they're basically just tweaking graphics and let us explore a little more. (RealMYST, e.g.)

I doubt they'll tinker with it overmuch. I'm looking forward to moving the camera around (I hope).

I'm also hoping it'll help me get LHAD wrapped up. The parts I've written lately aren't as good as the earlier stuff, partly because of my writing atrophying, and partly because of losing some of FFX's punch from playing it so many times I've got it memorized.

And, finally, if I do get LHAD wrapped up, this means a few readers will have played the game and (perhaps) be in the mood for the fanfic.

Well, you've spent a lot of time with the game. You transcribed its entire script! I can understand why you'd want to take a break. For what it's worth, I don't think the quality of the recently posted chapters is any less than the earlier ones. Maybe you're just holding yourself to a different standard?

And of course you know that I'm always available to help hash through any ideas you may have, right?
