A new chapter...

One that-like all the others that came before-has left me clinging to the edge of my seat yet left me deeply satisfied. And also impatiently awaiting the next chapter!

All those lovely interactions between all the characters, and Bahamut, in his Child Form, such a sweet character and so full of pathos...

Great job as usual!

Arrrgh, why must you do this! I don't want to distract you away from your dissertation work, but then you leave us with such a cliffhanger!

The calm storm before the storm, vividly done. Everything's leading to a head.

Auron's glyph scars -- ouch. Literally and figuratively, of course.

I'm hankering for another imprisoned!Lulu/defiant!Auron sort-of-love-scene, but I can't help but feel a pretty distinct aura of dread.

Well, the good news is that bits and pieces of the next chapter are written.

The bad news is that I can't let myself post it until I've written another chunk of my dissertation.

There will be another A/L scene shortly! I will say no more than ... oh gods, not ANOTHER damned cliffhanger. ;)

And come to think of it, that scene is one of the earliest fragments I wrote of this tale. I just have to dig it out and tweak it.
