Yeah, he couldn't have been all gone, which is problematic... Whatever, he's still Sayid, which is a synonym for amazing.

In my opinion, Kate should have gone with Sayid ALWAYS. At every opportunity. ;)

Oh my gosh this is so amazing. I really would have perferring this ending for Sayid over what we got on the show. :(( I felt like in season 6 they never did his character justice.

I really really feel for Kate in this one. The idea that even though she's always been surrounded by them, she's never really been "one of the boys," which is true of Sayid as well. He never got that bond that the other guys had. I adore the mention of Richard/Miles, and every time Kate calls the three of them "the boys" I squeed a little. :DD

And the ending of this, ahh the ending. It felt so true to both their characters. Sayid kissing Kate's hand was pretty much one of the best Lost moments ever, and I love that Kate remembers that. <33

Fantastic! :D

I hated the canon ending, too, even though I'd been expecting it since season 3. I really left like it was a cop-out to kill him. Wouldn't it have been better to let him go live as the good guy he wanted to be? But I guess the way they ended the 'real life' portion might have made it too ambiguous that he was going to spend the rest of his life non-violently.

Oooh, i loved this! Them not belonging and running away is so in character for them. Broody-searching-for-redemption Sayid is my favorite and it just fits here. I love the image of Carole Littleton housing all of them, LOL. The last line is utter perfection!

Aw, thank you! Broody redemptive Sayid is my favorite, too. I love trying to think of what everyone does afterwards, and it's hard to imagine them ignoring Carole. She's such a mom/ She'd totally take them in.

Thanks for reading!
