Hehehe… that cover is just too hilariously bad! The combination of the hideous font and horrendous computer-generated art easily take the cake for the worst book cover ever. I think my favourite part, though, is the strategically placed gingerbread man ;D *snickers uncontrollably*

The gingerbread man!! I also love the "vampire's" plastic-looking flesh. And the way he looks so out of proportion!

It says something about what a stud you are when you can get a gingerbread man hot!

Curse is just delightful!

Without fail, I start grinning like a fool when I look at the CURSE cover, especially at the girl's face. *wipes tear*.

It's priceless. I love the way it looks like it was drawn by a kid in grade 9 - one with talent and potential, sure, but no skill yet. You know, the angst kids who draw scary stuff in sketchbooks all the time...

That's just...hideous. The best thing about it is the fact that it makes people laugh.

Computer art on book covers is always tacky. Or at least, I've never seen a good one. Ah, small presses do tend to be rather hit ot miss.

I've never seen a good computer-art book cover either. You're right, they ALWAYS look tacky. And obvious. That's part of tacky isn't it ;) They tend to be self-published books, but there are some small presses - even ones like Ellora's Cave that does erotic romance and seems to sell well - that continue to do these embarrassing covers. Some of them are just boring, but yeah, this one's a gem ;)

I too love the gingerbread man. The most delightful thing to me, though, is that this is part of a series called "Hot Toddies"...that just makes me snicker. Also, I'm wondering about the other 4 books in the series now!

I know!! Hot Toddies - I can't stop smirking! I don't know that I could bear seeing what the other covers look like!

I think the size of that gingerbread man is terribly, terribly optimistic. :D
