Today is officially my last day of OISE. My B.Ed is finished, in two weeks there'll be a graduation ceremony which I'm not going to 'cause I hate those things, and by the end of June I should have my teaching qualification. YAY! Won't feel like I've finished until I get that ( Read more... )

I think the elephant is adorable! Almost as adorable as little Tamsyn ^__^

Congratulations on finishing your program, and all the best with your job applications.

The elephant is wonderful! It looks nice and cuddly, and I'm sure Tamsyn will love chewing on it, eventually. In that way that babies do when they have no teeth, at least. :D

You are most certainly NOT a failure! I cannot sew for beans and you've graduated again, so you're about three ahead of me ;) Congratulations, by the way!

And no idea what the movie is, sorry.

Also, your title made me think of "Elephants and Hens" from Black Books. They all drink lemonade...

And that was me!

Or someone pretending to be me. I actually have an LJ comment double, so just ignore that message...

...that is to say IF you got a message. Which I don't know that you did. In fact you have no reason to believe it was me that left that message. If there was a message.

...Hahaha, it's not Patrick, it's Ivan...

Wow, I hope you've seen Coupling.

I love Coupling, but I haven't seen it in about eight years so I wouldn't have recognised the quote without your help! Also love Black Books but all my DVDs are a different region code - how I miss that show! *sigh*

Thanks honey. You can't have long on your degree either yeah?

I'm glad you at least vaguely remember it -- otherwise I'd have looked mighty insane, and we couldn't have that, could we? *giggles worriedly*

Hahaha, I've still got two and a half years to go ... that's if I manage to stick it out :S And pass everything.

Isn't she cute? I never thought babies were cute until her - must be a family bias I'm sure!

I love the picture of your dad holding Tamsyn. Dunno why, but I always love seeing picture of grandparents holding babies. I think I just like the idea of things coming full circle.

But the movie you're thinking of is Twelve Monkeys, I remember because that was how Bruce Willis' character proved he was from the future the what was her name.

Overstuffed toy animals are the best! When they're too small you can't snuggle properly. She'll grow into it.

I can't believe you're already finished with your teaching degree! I tallied up my credits and I only need three more semesters, so I'm not far behind you!

That's a lovely way to put it! I love the grandparent-baby thing too, and Dad's really great with babies. He looks like he could be a bit awkward in this shot but in reality he's very comfortable with kids!

Thanks! It nagged at me for so long, it was only when I was typing it up that Twelve Monkeys occurred to me and I wasn't sure.

Yay for three more semesters! They'll fly by :)
