The easy way out.

I generally take the easy way out. I have other people do things for me because I'm too afraid to. I avoid conflict. Some times I don't even stand up for myself because my own fears grip me too tightly. Do I have the power to change this ( Read more... )

Thanks so much. This post was a difficult one to write; I really had to sit down and be honest with my self. And I wish you the same! Any goals that your working at? Things your trying to change?

I'm working toward physical fitness and strength (dance and yoga mainly), and still dragonslaying some of the monsters of my childhood's psyche.

*thinks*

After I have the regular habits of fitness and flexibility, I want to add some regular habits of art and music making. I have *so many* projects I want to work on, that it's hard to make a start on any of them. I have two friends who would like to hear me play violin again, so I suspect that might be the next-in-line to pick up and work on.

That all sounds great. Ive tried yoga before but I dont think its for me :| Dance sounds like good fun! I used to dance a bit in high school and I miss it.

I dont know if this will help you but I came across a website recently and its been really useful for me in getting things done and reflecting on myself. Feel free to check it out or pass it on to someone who might be able to use it.
