Have you visited the Sepulveda Adobe across the street. It's the HQ of the San Fernando Valley HIstorical Society.

Cruelty in lawn furniture-- that's a nice touch, especially for a mission. I haven't seen anything like that before.

There ought to be a way to sue Michael's for those mission kits, in my opinion!

These pictures are wonderful. I take a new one every week or so for my desktop...

L.A. has all kinds of anti-homeless benches. I hate them. This is the first one I've seen that is so decorative. It looks like they spent some money on them. "Cruelty in lawn furniture" is a great way to put it.

I visited a lot of them while on family vacations when I was a child. I like the architecture, and can see why you loved to paint them. My favorite is "La Purisima" near Lompoc, because it has a big beautiful garden around it. Or did when I was there.
