As students in the sixties, we didn't have much of an idea who Myrna Loy was, except that she was a movie actress. It was before the day when you could watch film classics on cable TV, or even rent them on video. Nevertheless, she was an important symbol of our school, and a welcome sight in the mornings before going to classes. It's interesting that Beau Bridges also went there, and that they appeared in a film together when he was a little boy.
