I currently have cold feet. I am wearing new slippers but they aren't keeping my feet warm. I dislike wearing shoes all day and evening, esp inside so often take them off, but recently my feet have been cold, so I brought a new pair of slippers, with no backs, but although they are fluffy my feet are cold.

What a super idea!

I have a new dressing gown, which is meant to be a Christmas present but I want it *now*. It is too big, deliberately so, and brown and fluffy and I feel like a bear in it. Bears hibernate. I could do that. If I was allowed to wake up every few hours for tea and biscuits.

A slightly more interesting thing: I have an irrational dislike of the number 6. when I was little I was very upset, and announced that I wasn't going to be six, I would stay five for two years and the go straight to seven.

When I was little I was fascinated by a book from the library about a polar bear who broke his arm and had to go to hospital. I used to borrow it all the time!

I had a tortoise called George after my favourite book, George the Milkman.

When I was 11, I won a goldfish at Pinner Fair. I named him George Herbert, without knowing (until afterwards) that that had been my Great Grandfather's name.
