Dear Mr. Morning Fuckwit Radio DJ,

Please to stop ragging on us poor, pathetic, thin-blooded Texans who apparently "freak out" when the thermometer dips below 40. Okay, so you're from Nebraska, where you had to walk ten miles to the bus stop every morning through six feet of snow uphill both ways in a driving blizzard, and then had to walk 25 ( Read more... )

where you had to walk ten miles to the bus stop every morning through six feet of snow uphill both ways in a driving blizzard, and then had to walk 25 miles to school because your bus passed you by because they couldn't see you since your pants, coat, and hat were coated with snow and thus you blended into the snowbank that was pile twenty five feet high.

Uh, you forgot to mention he was barefoot as well...

And I strongly suggest writing his rant down somewhere so you can call in come summer to remind him!

ROTF! OMG that is so true. Buffalo NY gets on us too here in Philly when we complain about 3-4 feet of snow. Snow days there like "We couldn't survive if we had snow days.. The whole city would be closed down. Everyday is a snow day" I love your Letters Okay, so you're from Nebraska, where you had to walk ten miles to the bus stop every morning through six feet of snow uphill both ways in a driving blizzard, and then had to walk 25 miles to school because your bus passed you by because they couldn't see you since your pants, coat, and hat were coated with snow and thus you blended into the snowbank that was pile twenty five feet high. I get that. You're a big, tough, macho guy who sneers at forty below zero. LOL and they say that too relatives too. Stay warm sweet Auntie *warm hugs*

That's me.

We moved here just before I started highschool, so been here almost 20 years.

And I don't go outside (except from the car to the store or house..whatever) once it goes above 85.

And even though it was COLD yesterday (especially with that wind)...I wasn't complaining. I'd rather be cold then hot.

After all, there are only so many items of clothing it is acceptable to doff in warm temps where as you can add as many layers as you want when it's cold.
