For some reason last night I was thinking about Halloween costumes. I hadn't really put much thought into one, but people here go CRAZY for Halloween, and I love Halloween, so I started thinking more than "what I did last year, because more people will get it" and formulated something that would require elbow-length red gloves ( Read more... )

Jessica Rabbit, maybe? I can't think of any costume that has elbow length red gloves.

Yeah ... that's not gonna happen. Not without a LOT of padding, hair dye, makeup, and heels I would so not be comfortable walking around in, much less that DRESS. I can't do strapless dresses, they make me worry that they'll fall off at any moment, because I am not confident in my breasts being able to hold up much of anything.

I wonder what my brain was thinking last night? It wasn't Jessica Rabbit ... what was I thinking of?

Most any femme fatale. Lucy, the Master's wife from Doctor Who, perhaps? I'm pretty sure she wore opera gloves in the episode where Martha overthrows the Master. The incarnation of War from Good Omens? (Not that I think she ever wore opera gloves, but she did wear a lot of red...)
