If you were in Tahiland then obviously you couldn't vote ;) but what makes me angry are those young people who had two days of time to take their ass out of home and put four crosses on four sheets of paper. It takes only 5 minutes and you've done what is your DUTY and your RIGHT. I really can't understand why people is not interested in voting anymore, especially because the SAME people who don't vote then have the courage to complain if in Italy things are not going as they should.

It's just like when they complained that Berlusconi was elected. It was really ironic, because EVERYONE kept saying "who voted for him?" and the answers were "I didn't. And you?", "Neither did I".... I guess it was the Holy Spirit who elected him ;)) :D

It was the same here when artifical contraceptives were proposed by the Health authorities to control population growth, people did not want it because the church abhors it. Pfft!

I would love to see the day when people actually think for themselves and not be dictated by what this and that institution believes in.

Sometimes, I question even that; sad isnt it.

I never liked the way the chruch proclaims or tries to merge themselves into politics, health or any other segment of society.

Sheesh. I really should stop now *smirk*
