What is it about Auron and Lulu --the characters or the couple that attract you? What do they posses or do that draws you to them?

Myself, while they are both entirely pleasant to look at, it is not the image that drew me in. While playing the game for the first time, I was initially attracted to them because they were two of the more believable

As for the two of them together, it's difficult to imagine that Auron would notice or allow himself to form an intimate bond with anyone, but if he did so, Lulu seems the most likely candidate. Their strength of will, loyalty, love, selflessness, professionalism, maturity, sternness, and occasional wry sense of humor mesh on similar wavelengths. They're both seasoned guardians; they both know what it means to watch one's summoner die and keep going. Both have close connections with death. Both are formidable, refuse to suffer fools, and are wise enough to shake off outmoded ideas of Yevon when they prove inadequate. They are kindred spirits

What I love about Auron: I guess the mystery part comes first. I wondered and wondered about him and even when I figured out some of his secrets there were still more. I love his stoicism, and I feel for his need to do the best he can even when he isn't sure it will ultimately do any good.

Lulu I didn't like as much at first. I thought her clothes were too flashy, and that she was a stand-offish. But as I saw how much she had lost, and that she really did have self-doubt, I liked her much more.

I haven't thought as much about them as a couple yet... but I do like the idea. I think Lulu would want to take something she wanted, would not want to lose a chance. And I think Lulu's intelligence would appeal to Auron. Whether he would open himself up enough to her is a tricky question, but I like to think he could.

It's funny, like you I vaguely remember disliking Lulu when I first started playing, because I have a kneejerk "oh please, spare us the tits and ass!" reflex. Then I started to see the character and reminded myself that dismissing someone for appearances is as stupid as not seeing anything past it.

And then after figuring out what she was really like I allowed that maybe it was okay to drool after all. (sheepish grin)

You hit on another important point with Auron, that he does all this even when it seems like he doesn't have much hope of changing anything.

Nothing wrong with a little drooling; I got a little kick when I finally realized that part of her skirt was actually not all there. ;)

Actually I hope I will soon have pictures of a couple of Lulu cosplayers from Anime Expo. They looked quite good.
