i tend to gravitate away from animes because too many stereotypical characters & tropes
and i mean durarara probably falls under the same pitfalls but
akjsdafsf I REALLY LOVE IT A LOT 8DDD

i think it's because with a lot of animes, the characters are really one dimensional and they have a tendency to do way more telling than showing. but with durarara, there's like. SUBTLETIES. <333

i hope you pick it back up again. :D let me know if you ever want to watch it with someone--i'm always down for rewatching <33 (or watching since i'm still so far from the end lmfao OTL)
