Happy birthday Lass! I wanted to draw some Casface for you, but you'd get your Misha fix from lots of other people, so here is part one of my present- Girl!Sam ( and yes, I did steal the title from your rather brilliant ' All That Glitters').

Personally, I can't do digital stuff to save my life, so I always like to see people who can produce something awesome like this. I like how stark it is, and how it captures a lot of the character, the combination of frailty and intensity.

Plus lighting. Which is awesome. Well done!

Digital stuff is hard, man. Getting a tablet helped but sketching is so much easier by hand!

Lighting tends to b a fluke for me, mostly so I'm glad this worked out! I'm glad that the sense of character came across, I find that one of the hardest things to portray in my work so I'm thrilled it came across1

There's just something about this that makes me want to stare and stare.. it's so intriguing. I think it's the intensity or maybe the way s/he's posing. Probably the eyes....
