Ok, Ladies, I have not been on this community in probably a month. My little one takes every second of my time and I mean EVERY. I was one of those people when I was pregnant that said I will never hold my baby all the time so that when I set her down she screams til she is picked up again. Well... she is one of those babies. Letting her cry will teach her that the ones who are supposed to be there for her aren't as reliable as she thinks they should be.

You should feel honored and special. Your daughter wanting to be held all of the time means that she loves you and wants to spend her time with you. Babies who cry like that are NOT spoiled, it means that they are well loved and she is protesting you putting her down.

Honestly, have you heard of the Moby Wrap?? My son is just like your daughter, he loves to cuddle and be held and hates to be put down. A friend of mine sent me a Moby Wrap and omg let me tell you it helps so much to wear him and get things done.

Theres a website that helps mothers get a wrap or a sling... with little cost, like $5 i think. No Mother Left Behind... if you are interested I can get you the info.

I was just going to recommend a hotsling. My baby doesn't cry all the time but she does her share of being fussy, when we put her in her hotsling or her other baby carrier she settles down and I can get things done. It really helps.

I'm sorry that your neighbors are being difficult. Definitely don't let her cry it out!

Good luck!

The Moby wrap has been a Godsend for me. Meghan gets to be close to Mommy and I can get stuff done around the house since I have both hands free. She also gets fussy sometimes if she's not being held.
