Lucius had little trouble finding the place, though he'd never set foot in it before. In truth, he rarely ventured anywhere near this part of Diagon Alley - the shops around here were of a distinctly lower class and caliber than he was accustomed to dealing with. However, he did have to grudgingly admit that although the pub was drab and plain, it was at least clean. Lucius had to raise an eyebrow at that. Shacklebolt's reputation had not preceded him, no. Lucius had merely remembered the face and name of one of the Aurors responsible for capturing him and the entire group of Death Eaters at the Ministry. Except for Bellatrix, of course...

He smiled again, as benignly as a crocodile. "I am certain mine precedes me. But that is not the reason you've come here, is it?" He folded his hands neatly beneath his nose and spoke from behind them, resting his elbows on the table.

"I understand that you report directly to Duncan MacLachlan." He said the man's name with a palpable degree of distaste, as he always did. "And I also understand that he has been attempting to apprehend Fenrir Greyback, with no small amount of difficulty. Am I correct?"

Kingsley almost smiled at the disgust in Malfoy's voice when he spoke of Duncan. Duncan tended to use that same tone of voice when discussing Malfoy.

Kingsley leaned back in his chair, seemingly relaxed, "After this morning’s Prophet it's hardly a secret."
