I miss you already!

I felt bad about abandoning you with new people when I took off to buy my sewing machine. I'm glad you had a good time!

I didn't realize that we bought mostly the same patterns. That blouse is going to look so cute on you. I'm probably going to end up buying a copy of it, too.

I need to go to the garment district with a couple of other costumers! I seem to usually have non-costumers in my charge when I go, or it's just Shawn and I. You guys had such an adventure!

I'm sorry the airport was so difficult. I was really glad that you were home safe before all the scariness that happened today.

I love all your pictures! I think my favorites are the Saffron & Kaylee and the underwear breakfast.

We do want to come visit you someday! I'm sure it wouldn't take more than a suggestion to get Shawn out there for Star Wars weekends. I can't wait to see you next year, whichever convention you make!

I miss you, too! And I didn't feel abandoned at all. It's not like you hadn't introduced me and we'd all just shared a meal. I forgot you were going to see MJ and wondered where you'd got off to while I was working on my bonnet and chatting with the girls!

You know I'll be back sometime next year, so save a vacation or sick day to go fabric shopping with me!

The photos: your two favorites were ones I didn't take, LOL! Whoever took the underwear one did a really nice job, and the lighting happened to be perfect.

Next time I'm taking a page out of your book (er, journal) and writing up my recaps day-by-day. I feel like I tried to cram everything I did into one entry, and had to leave out what I experienced.

Come to C4!! mara_jade_az is berating me to get up the gumption to wear a costume in public at C4 ;) If I'm not being crushed under the weight of homework I'll be obligated to work on a SW costume!

Okay, so that's one vote for C4... It might be worth it just to see you in costume! You should totally go for it. I know we make things for our own satisfaction, but you might as well let others enjoy your work!

That was a great recap! You did a much better job of remembering to take photos than I did. Sorry the airport was so difficult - just be glad you traveled home before today. I'm not looking forward to the new airline rules and having to get to the airport early for D*Con :(

The Can-Can rehearsal looks so cute. I wish I could have teleported myself there for just a second to see what was going on that night! Thanks to your photos I now have my sneak peak :)

You're welcome! I saw the script for the show, it was a stack of pages at least an inch thick! Watching the little bit of rehearsal and cutting fabric while Kim sewed costumes, I started to have an appreciation for how big their production is.

I didn't hear about the airport changes until yesterday (I'm always a little behind with news). And I'm glad I got out ahead of it, too!

It really was! It's got me thinking about looking into classes at UCF again (last time I looked, costume classes were only for theatre majors).
