OH MY GOD.

This was fantastic. I absolutely adore your characterization! It's not even that you find a Zutara fic from Toph's perspective in such a way, and what you've done is so clever! Hilarious.

Thank you :) Looking at this relationship from the outside is somehow much less scary than seeing it from within. Katara was difficult enough; Zuko's mind absolutely scares the shit out of me. Toph, on the other hand, is fun :D

"Jeez, fine, whatever. Yeesh." Sokka humphs. "Don't know what's gotten into you all of the sudden."

Toph starts to laugh, and doesn't stop for a long time.

Brilliant. Toph's awesomeness knows no bounds.

You write her incredibly well. :)

I love Toph's POV. She's awesome and no one will convince me otherwise.
I started grinning at her first "No. Way." and didn't stop. Katara is, indeed, very oblivious to stuff, and I'm starting to find Aang really annoying.

Toph is made of so much win I can hardly stand it.

Sorry about spamming your inbox, by the way; now that November is over I'm trying to catch up on replies.

And there you go being AMAZING with Toph too. And you managed to remove all the descriptions that Toph wouldn't know, which most authors don't do, and I think being in sensory deprivation made me attribute emotions to their voices, rises and falls, that wouldn't feel as important in a chapter told by a seeing person. Interesting. And well done.

While she would never, ever admit it out loud, Toph takes Iroh's word as gospel.

The idea of Toph and Iroh taking care of each other is one of my favorites. (If I ever get around to writing the ATLA idea I've got mulling around, my favorite bit is the idea that Iroh gives Toph the silent treatment for not telling him who her babydaddy is.)
