Merlin!

Sep 11, 2010 23:28

This evening has not gone too good at all; initially I went out with my mum, dad and nana to go have an Indian (meaning I missed Merlin as it aired, just finished watching it on iPlayer) and we parked the car and went to the pub which was fine, it was crowded because there had been a home game on today and we won 2-1. We then tried one Indian but ( Read more... )

Okay, I'm not complaining that he's topless but come on, he's not just a bit of meat, he's a good actor!

word. Thank you.

I agree about Morgana. They totally failed at subtlety and all. Even though I like evil!Morgana, I would have liked a slow change over a couple of seasons better, with the evil practically seeping into her. Right now it seems like she's a hormon-controlled teenager.

*big hugs* re:the asthma. I sympathise completely as I have it myself. I hope the inhaler starts to kick in properly soon hun. it's rediculous how many times you have to take them sometimes. Just rest and take care of yourself m'kay?

Re: Merlin. OMG WHHHHHHHHY CAN THEY NOT WRITE MORALLY AMBIGUOUS CHRACTERS? Life isn't either black or white Merlin writers, there is some gray in there too you know *fail* I'm fine with Morgana wanting Uther dead, but they way she bitched at Gwen, and how she just killed that guard...was just, what the hell? This woman has always been about protecting the innocent, so to see her do that in cold blood felt so OOC it was rediculous.
Also the smirks, a couple of times=perfectly acceptable, every damn second=major overkill (even if Katie does look hot doing it haha)

Guess I'm officially on Team Villain now. It just worries me that all villains get killed off pretty quickly as a rule :/ They'd better not, or I think my relationship with the show would struggle to survive!

DDD: *squishes you* I hope you feel better soon, bb! Asthma is awful; I had it mildly as a kid and still get attacks around very hairy cats. I have an inhaler jic. ^^

BUT LOLOL @ YOUR REACTION TO EVIL!MORGANA. Yeah, I totally hate her now. Like, 'ONE-DIMENSIONAL' is definitely the right word! I used to love her so much but now it's like ASDRFGDFGH WHUT. Die, bitch, trying to hurt my Merlin!

Still, she's sexy. I'll give her that. xD

I wasn't too bothered about the A/M scenes - at least we got some! But it totally needed to be more slashy. xD

Thanks :) oh the writing of Morgana pissed me off! In To Kill the King she was perfect, she loved Uther but she hated him as well, why couldn't they have her character like it was back then? It would make sense!

I'd have thought you'd have loved watching Merlin getting tied up in chains by a blonde (it just happened to be the wrong one lol!)

It totally would. The writers really can't get it 100% right, can they? *tuts* xD

HELL YEAH I DID. COLIN IN CHAINS? BB, MY DREAM COME TRUE. BUT HE WAS IN PAIN AND HIS PAINED FACE? MY LITTLE HEART BROKE. *sobs*

AND ARTHUR WAS NOWHERE IN THE VICINITY. HE WAS TOO BUSY BEING ALL ANGSTY ON MORGANA THAT BITCH.

Oh BB, I think I had already resigned myself to TEH EBIL Morgana (the trailers and such seemed to indicate it), so I guess I wasn't as upset as you were, although by all rights I should be....but hey, she a) got screentime, *le gasp!* and b) interacted with people, including Arthur *double le-gasp* And had some badass moments, even if they were OOC and evil ( ... )

Oh and rewatching bits of the epp after reading your post, THE FLOWERS THING IS SO TRUE! :p LMAO...they really need to find that girl something to do besides a) "arranging flowers" and b) "romancing Arthur"--there are other activities to be explored...
