Oh, excellent ending.

I was afraid that they wouldn't be able to use the technology. Hopefully Rodney will remember something that they can use in some way.

And Ronon didn't change.

Wow.

Very, very good

I was afraid that they wouldn't be able to use the technology.

Especially as the technology is only one half of the equation here--the Hermeans' genesis over centuries of trial & error could admittedly have made the expedition sit up and take note(s, a lot of them) earlier, but then again, they did lack essential information, or perhaps rather the experience itself, in-built epiphany and all.

Thank you so much for this whole work. An unforgettable read.
I still can not believe that you managed to pull it off so plausibly.

Nice twist and so believable that Ronon would choose to stay female - as a new start and new identity apart from that of a Runner.

We did introduce the idea pretty early on, and I'm so glad the characterisation and motivation worked for you. I was thinking about yet more Ronon perspectives to underline this decision; more Ronon would definitely not have gone amiss, I think. But ah, good intentions....

(And oh, your icon: It's wonderful.)

That was bloody fantastic! It's been a long and eventful ride ladies, but it was certainly worth it. Brava, both of you!

\0/ ::dances around smiling and holding this story to my heart::... and looking forward to saving and re-reading it!... loved your ending... just perfect!

Even if they're most likely not going to gain the cloak... at least to the level that they'd need to obscure an entire planet...
