This is going to make me try out the option of downloading a file to the Nook so I can read it on the go. I've been waiting for the right story to motivate me to try that option! If I turn out to be one of those people who never come back to comment, smack me, okay? :-)

I'm on a bit of a deadline right now, but if I have it with me, I can sneak some reading in...

Usually that works fine for my Kindle. Which I have to admit is great. Hundreds of books, right there in my purse with me. That used to be my fantasy.

So of course I mostly read off my phone.

Whattayagonnado?

And, yeah, I'll smack you if you don't comment, even if it's a 'didn't like this one'.

Never fear, I have as yet to read something you wrote that I didn't like. Stories that broke my heart, yes. Didn't like? No. :-)

You're a voice in the wilderness, distant today.

But, hey, happy ending. I mean, happy even by standards other than mine.

It's a little embarrassing to admit how long I've been hanging out for this. I'm up to chapter four and loving it so far. Nice characterisation and great fusion of different (and messy) canon's with everyone thinking *they're* the ones who really know what's going on. Particularly like the way you're handling Peter's (Burke) reaction to everything.

You should have heard the bitching and moaning as I made up an eleven page timeline integrating the three shows and then weaving my plot back story in. Not easy, but it did work. It's always supremely satisfying when you can get something like that to fit together though.

Particularly like the way you're handling Peter's (Burke) reaction to everything.

Eeeeeeee! *hugs you* My betas beat me over the head about FBI Peter. They should be so happy if I show them this comment, because I did so much third and fourth draft work on Peter's reactions to get them right!

omg, i just read it all. amazing. it's impossible to come up with a review worthy of the scope you've composed. of course my favorite aspect is the connection betweeen neal & bryce - beautiful, ethereal yet tangible, sweet but not saccharine. but most everyone had their own voice, and those characters i knew read spot on, particuarly mozzie, bryce, chuck & casey, and i really have only seen the chuck scenes that bryce was in, so i think that's saying something. i was surprised at how well i was able to keep up since i only know white collar inside & out. i'm sure i missed much, but i don't think it took away from my experience. i can't tell you how relieved i was that bryce made it to the end. i was sure he wouldn't. great twist at the end. thanks for writing and sharing this.

more white collar? as far as i know it's just the two long pieces, right?

Just the two long pieces right now, I've been kind of in a funk again, but Yuletide will make me write and then, well, I have a full outline for a White Collar story, an plot/idea for a Chuck story (Bryce-centric, because there will never be enough Bryce fic), another idea for a Magic Mike story (which I am totally not competent to write, but like that's ever stopped me), all of which will likely run long to epic, and then there's my current fandom obsession, Teen Wolf, so it looks like there will be werewolves and teenage angst in my future too. Sigh. I feel like 2013 will be a productive year for me. I'm going to strictly write self-indulgent stories that make me happy and if they have any redeeming features outside of that, it will be strictly accidental ( ... )
