Oh, yay! I tried to post a comment for this three times last night, and then LJ died -- oops.*g* This was my request:

SGA. John. "They wake tangled in each other."

I respectfully asked that if possible it's Rodney with John. :)

ETA: Oops, I got kicked off before I could complete my last thought -- I was going to add that of course, it's up to you, and I'll be thrilled with anything.:)

The feel of the sun on his cheek, heating his skin, brought John awake slowly. His arm was asleep, his mouth tasted like something died, rose from the dead, and then took a dump in it. His eyelids seemed to be glued together and it seemed equally possible that his legs had been glued down to something ( ... )

Ahahahaha, that's actually funny, in a sort of gross way. I'm sure they *have* been in a lot of gross situations in Pegasus, if you think about it.:) I love their buttons being buttoned together, lol. I can only imagine what the night before was like...*g*

Also, omg you are blisteringly fast!!! Thank you.

The other side of romance in flatulance.

I actually started with the idea that they'd got naked and jiggy and that the natives had dressed them all wrong after they passed out.

Chopsticks. Rodney. SGA!

Or.

SGA. John. On a knife edge.

John and Rodney with chopsticks and knife edges.

Logically, since he was the more coordinated of the two of them, John should have been able to eat with chopsticks. Not so. John couldn't pick up a sticky ball of rice, a water chestnut or a piece of sweet and sour pork if his life depended on it.

Rodney however was as adept with chopsticks as any other tool and smugly showed off when they found the best Chinese restaurant in San Francisco.

John just shrugged and followed Ronon's lead, either stabbing bits with the point or balancing them of the blade of his knife.

The food tasted just as good however he got it to his mouth.

NCIS/Mag7:

McGee shook his head, hard. Two of them, in one place? The universe might implode any minute.

Behind him, Gibbs spoke. "Send both of them in?"
The other team leader replied, just as briefly. "Yep. They'll draw the attention; I figure my Standish and your David can get it and get out before the brawl dies down."
"Sounds like a plan."

McGee closed his eyes in pain.

....added because I answered before I saw the other responses. Thought there would be lots more of Option#3 ...

so, alternatively, let my request be for Option #3:

Wanting a pet, and being willing and able to properly care for one, are two different things.

or

"Learning from your mistakes" doesn't always mean what you think it does.

*hugs you* Thanks to you I can now claim I worked on the novel tonight!

"Learning from your mistakes" doesn't always mean what you think it does.Thanh monitored the repairs on the Primad facility, even venturing so far as to occupy an unused construction spider and stalk over the churned and frozen ground of the perimeter. Dirty snow had been dozed out beyond the range of the motion sensors and the rest of the failed security net. Once repairs on the main buildings were finished and the power grid restored, the medeci had authorized installing an extensive and lethal new set of security measures ( ... )

perfect! a lovely little taste of the novel. vivid and (so far) mysterious....

I was afraid of giving too specific a prompt because we haven't been immersed in your canon yet. Then I figured "pets" could mean a lot of things and "mistakes" were universal....
