I am fandom-lame.

False modesty, I think. Think of it as knowing your own mind and being able to stick with something even when it goes off away from what it started out to be.
Of course 'hope' and 'tv show' should only be loosely associated. When something is good you have to enjoy while it lasts, but never count on it lasting very long.

It's true, though. As far as I can track my own writing, I write in one fandom at a time and when it is over, it seems to be really, really over. I don't seem to go back. But I've stuck with SGA longer than any other and still have more ideas than I can ever finish for it.

Second half of season two? I've finally got the CW so I'm figuring to watch it real time in season three, but it would help to know what the hell was going on.

Damn stores. I had one where I was getting German chocolate and then the lousy jerks stopped. So it's back to Barettino and Lindt. My suffering knows no end.

I've had such strange long distance affairs... a sort of pen-pal relationship, where I've never actually ~met~ my amours... (there was Ray/Bodie from the Professionals, never saw episode one) also the same with Battlestar Galactica the Original (manly Starbuck/Apollo)... those were purely affairs fostered from the excellent fiction of a few fantastic pimps ::cough:: writers.

Similarly with Highlander (although I eventually saw some of the eps... Methos/Duncan, of course) the same with the Magnificent 7 (Chris/Vin), Due South (rayK/Fraser) and now SGA (McShep!!)

There were a couple of very small fandom flings with the more obscure ones, like Ultraviolet (Jack/Michael), Horatio Hornblower (Rum, the lash & sodomy!) and my one Het affair... wait... is that right? I had a HET affair?? omg... (Cupid's Alex/Claire)

I know, I saw this meme years ago and I didn't have enough experience in fandom to fill it out, but now, hey, it sort of looks like a I get around. If only my actual social life were half so interesting.

Hey, you've been getting the chapters up quick. Think you'll manage before premiere day?

Alas, I doubt it. premiere is Friday and I still have 12 chapters left. It's a good thing, actually. I thought of something this morning that I need to fix!

However, that the end comes after the premiere means one less casting warning. I just got a shocker of a spoiler, when I wen to check the air date. GATEWORLD IS EVIL.
