Hi! I'm sorry you prepped for nothing but drizzle, but ti's good to know how to be prepared in an emergency.

I'm still in Arlington (outside Dallas). Tomorrow morning (Tuesday) I'll head back to Houston. Early. Less heat and hopefully less traffic. I hope by now I'll find gas when needed, but I have a full tank.

I don't regret packing up and taking out. The trip wound up being more of a long weekend visit with friends,so I feel very very lucky.

Ah... My trip... or should I say, my evacuation trip was insane. My aunt and uncle are too dumb. Everything has to be their way, and so, we couldn't figure out where we wanted to go. x.x

We stayed up in Houston at La Quintas because we had no choice, really. :P Then we all stayed at a huge condo. :D The whole trip was boring. Except for when we where at La Quintas Inn. That was so fun.

In the end, nothing happened. I was mad. Hahaha. Leaving like that for nothing. Jeeze. :\ Well, happy yer okay too. :D Welcome back!!

My trip was actually like a mini vacation. I still hated the fact that we did all that work to leave, drove 20 hours and nothing even happened. At least when we got back we had electricty. Anyway, the fan fic was really good! I'm also glad that everyone is safe! ^_^
