Poor Luke.

THIS IS WHAT I READ THE BOOKS FOR.

Corran: "I quit being a Jedi, too."
Luke: "You can't."
Corran: "Okay, fire me. Um, there are parts of the Jedi Code I don't buy into, and these robes chafe. There's insubordination for you."
- Corran Horn and Luke Skywalker

It's from the New Jedi Order series, specifically Dark Tide II: Ruin by Michael A. Stackpole.

Your mom has met Stackpole. (So have I.) Has she told you about him?

The robes chafe? This is probably the single greatest sentence I have ever read.

Damn, I need to get a Star Wars icon!

I'm sure that after the mass jedi slaughter, all the secrets of making the comfortable jedi robes where lost. So Luke had resort to plyester, or possible really cheap cotton. Those poor souls. Anyone would turn to the darkside. It's rumored that their's are cashmere.

May I recomend goodswicons that's where I got most of mine.

I MISSED YOU WHILE YOU WHERE IN TOWN. TT_TT

BAHAHAHAH.

And then Luke resisted all overpowering urges to headdesk. And it was great.

There was much rejoicing. Luke is like that really nice teacher teacher who expects everyone to their best, and gives you that really guilt-inducing look when you dissapoint him.

*Gives hug to Luke.*

*headdesk*

They need to have spell check for comments. Ignore the second "teacher" and the misspellings please. >_
