I've been out of touch with the internet for a few days. I'll try to be better about that. But, for right now, I've got reading to do. -
Just a quick note...
I've been back for just under a week and I've almost completed the major American food groups(Chinese, Mexican, pizza, BBQ, and Waffle House)? I still haven't had Waffle House yet...I'm saving that for when Jessica gets back...I think. McDonald's doesn't count as an American food group because it's everywhere...although it's better here than ( Read more... ) -
My first non-Afro-update
I'm home...mostly. The Container is an absolute wreck, so I spent last night at the Holiday Inn Express. Oh my goodnes...the bed was A-MAZING! I fell asleep around 9:30 after AYCE BBQ chicken at Country's and slept through missed phone calls from Katie. "That thing was ringing until all hours," said my mom. I woke up about 8AM. I preach in two days. I'm not ready yet, but I should be after today. Jacob and Mark went to Akot this morning, and I opted to stay here to work on my sermon. They're going to take some supplies down so that we won't have to carry as much when we go down with the team that is coming in next week from Dawson Memorial Baptist Church in B'ham ( Read more... )
