princeton review has offered me a job. $20/hour but a month of mandatory training (60 hours, split over 4 weeks) . the training is only $8/hour. the bad part is, the classes are wed and saturday, which means weekends with schmitty would be paused for a good month. me no likey ( Read more... )

Not to sound overly critical but... are you kidding me? Take the job.

ahhhh, yes, dr.mcninja. he and indietits are two that i like to engage in when i need a cartoon fix and i have read all there is to read on my other ones.
this comic has actually caused an ongoing convo between schmitty and i because i am a pirate and he is a ninja, and we are not certain if we can even be friends

well, I would make sure that there is no test you have to take after teh training, sometimes these jobs pay the $8/hour and then find a way to prevent you from working the $20/hr or don't give you any hours at all. so for me it would depend on how legit the deal is. It seems since it's princeton review it would be, but it doesn't hurt.

yeah, I'm going with everyone else and saying, TAKE THE JOB! u can still work the bars at nite if u really want to. and it's something ur good at.
