800/month and sharing w/two boys. goodness. If you don't mind me asking, what is the pay like there? I wonder how much a waitress/barista actually makes/hour in nyc.

i earn $8.75/hour as a barista, and my healthcare starts in 3 months. i get about 25-35 hours of work a week, and when is start at kaplan i'll get $20-$30/hour.
i'm gonna skip the $800 house. too many things just don't sit right with me.
