It still blows me away that it got that long without me really noticing. It also blows me away that although I wear it back in a ponytail or bun 99% of the time (part of the argument of chopping it off), it gets EVERYWHERE.

I wear mine up all the time too! It's okay! I suit it better than short hair. Sometime I'll cut it to see again, but I don't want the awkward shoulder hitting stage again.

Good argument!!! Maybe I'll get around to taking pics, too, where I haven't just gotten home from a 15ish hour day and where my hair isn't all fried-y looking from being bunned all day!!!

I think doanting is an awesome idea! My hair has always been too thrashed by the time it gets that long for it to be donatable anymore.

The older I get (I'll be *gasp* 36 in March!), the more silver hairs I see en masse. Part of me is beyond fascinated, the other part... ? I seem to have gotten super duper lazy at dying my hair now that I'm older, which is why about 70% of my hair in the pics I posted is my natural color :) I also read that they'll take any hair, in any condition, as long as it's 10" in length and has not been bleached.

I keep meaning to donate the hair I had cut off about 6 months ago LOL I better send it in before it grays on its own hehe

Hee hee hee. For years, I had hair that I had chopped off laying around in a random packing envelope. I wonder if I still have that thing?

LOL at that point, it might be a good idea if you find it to just lay it on someone's doorstep, ring the bell, and run.
