This brings up a topic I've been grappling with for some time. Who do you prefer, couplewise: Abby and Luca or Abby and Carter? Because I personally have room in my heart for the tall, dark, and foxy Luca, as well as my dear sweet John Carter. (I find ways to bring any topic back to some hero of mine and their characters, in this case Maura Tierney. I have fun.)

you know, i don't know. i of course have a raging crush on luca, but it seems like carter can make abby have more fun in life, and isn't so serious and fussy, although luca seems to be trying to rediscover his 'youth' (having bought the fish tank, pizza, and playstation before buying real adult stuff like, oh.. furniture?)

as far as john carter goes, i think he was much cuter when he was younger, but as he ages, he doesn't look as good. noah wylie is prime example of how you can fall 'in love' with a character, but not the actor (dr. carter is my ideal 'mate', so to speak, but i've seen him in interviews, and it makes me ill almost every time, whereas i've seen goran in interviews, and he's freeping HILARIOUS.).

it's a relief to know i'm not the only person out there contemplating this *wink*

*high five from one cellar dweller to another* Good call. Yeah, I love Noah Wyle the actor, as in Carter and just for being in Donnie Darko, but I've seen him in interviews and he just seems... blah. Goran is just adorable! As for with Abby, I had been leaning towards Carter all season, until she got beaten up and Luca beat the neighbor up. Since then I've been torn! *shakes head* I need to stop being a loser, but it's all good.

When it all comes down to it, I say screw 'em both, and bring Dave Foley's Newsradio Dave Nelson to ER and we can have a Dave and Lisa reunion. That's my solution. So there. Nyeh. :)
